Story

After many years of faithful service, the Sing’s Asian Kitchen restaurants have become beloved household names in Brisbane. Want something fast, fresh and quality that doesn’t cost the bank and is healthy to boot? Thousands of Brisbanites think of Sing’s each and every week of the year.

But all good things take time. It was many years of hard work behind the woks and over the grills before Sing’s could enjoy the solid reputation that they do today.

The first Sing’s Restaurant was actually founded across the ditch in the land of the long white cloud. From 1986 to 2003 Sing Lu operated a small Asian cuisine restaurant in Christchurch, New Zealand. During these years in New Zealand Sing perfected his cooking style and developed a culinary model based around fast, fresh and quality food.

10 years ago in 2004, Sing moved to sunny Brisbane and the Rosalie restaurant opened its doors. The original Brisbane Sing’s restaurant quickly became a firm favourite in the local landscape and to this day, in what can be a fickle and trendy industry, the Rosalie restaurant absolutely hums all throughout the week.

In 2007, 3 years after the opening of the Rosalie restaurant, Sing Lu cut the ribbon on a new location in Coorparoo. The Sing’s Coorparoo restaurant is a much more expansive venue, that can seat up to 200 people at a time. The restaurant features comfortable seating and a variety of table sizes and formats to suit all kinds of occasions, whether it be a quick and healthy mid week meal, or a large birthday dinner gathering of thirty people.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our loyal customers, some of whom have been coming to dine with us since we first opened in Rosalie all those years ago.  We look forward to many more years of fast, fresh and quality food.
